DTE was looking to make it easier for people to move, start or stop their service. It was a chance to use humor to entertain and get the viewers' attention. Post click tracking showed a direct relationship between the campaign and online activity. From the launch of the campaign, online start, stop or transfer service transactions increased 146% year-over-year.
